In the first days there should be a limited contact with strange people. It is necessary to keep watching the small kitten so it doesn't eat or lick something that could harm itself.

It is necessary to care for the kitten like a small child, if the kitten is not eating he may be scared of the new surroundings and you may have to sit with the kitten. This helps them to feel safe.

The kitten should have fresh water and dry food always in the bowl. (cats don't drink milk)

If you wish to change food it is best to do this slowly. Mix the old and the new together gradually more and more of the new food. It is also best to observe the kittens feaces and if this is soft (diarrhoea) stop and revert to the normal food. If the diarrhoea continues, it is necessary to take the kitten to your vet. Food can harm the kitten or kitten can catch a cold.

The kitten/cat is vaccinated once a year and is wormed twice a year.
